In a Google blog post, the company said the store's materials, furniture, and fixtures were designed with sustainability in mind. "The veneer on the walls is a soft gray responsive source hickory, each light material is energy efficient and our custom cork and wood furniture were created with a local craftsman from Greenpoint, Brooklyn."
For those entering the store, Google's goal is to "find a light space centered around the experience of collaborating with our products," the blog post said.

A 17-foot-tall circular glass structure will be found near the store's entrance, where customers will be able to interact in what Google calls the "Imagination Space." The first experience built here is based on Google Translate, which simultaneously translates any of the 24 languages you speak.
The store has interactive areas where viewers can check out the latest Pixel phones, Pixelbook devices, as well as Nest Home and Fitbit products.
In addition, Google's experts will provide information and suggestions on how customers can repair their Pixel devices.
