In this regard, from now on, suppliers will no longer provide double or triple camera modules already assembled. Instead, the company will purchase camera sensors and assemble them as needed.


Until last year, Apple used to buy pre-assembled dual and triple-camera modules from its suppliers LG Inotech, Sharp, and O Film.

iPhone 13 huge materials ordered

Apple has so far ordered 90 million pieces of parts for the iPhone 13 from its suppliers. That figure is 20 percent higher than the iPhone 12, according to a report by The Elek.
